Scopeflow

Quoting for trades

Built for landscaping

Quoting Software for Landscapers.

A landscaper signing up for Scopeflow gets landscaping rate fields. Softscape and hardscape install priced separately, feature zones, retaining and detail edges, edging and borders, irrigation and sealing, with an excavation and prep rate of its own.

Landscaping splits by job type more than most trades. Soft landscaping such as turf, garden beds and planting runs $50-$80 per m², hardscaping such as paving, retaining walls and structures runs $100-$300 and above per m², and turf alone is $15-$35 per m² supplied and laid (source: What's The Damage's Australian landscaping cost guide).

One per-m² rate almost never covers a whole landscaping job. Paving, turf and retaining walls price differently, so the quote is really several jobs wearing one number.

What you get

Built around how landscapers actually price a job

Rates

Softscape and hardscape, separately

Turf and planting price nothing like paving and retaining walls, so they carry separate rates per m² rather than one blended average.

Zones

Every zone its own line

Front lawn, rear paving, side garden bed. Add each as its own space with its own measurements and get one combined quote.

Excavation

Prep area and base depth

Record excavation area and base depth per zone against their own rate, so site prep is quoted rather than absorbed.

Linear work

Retaining, edging and irrigation

Retaining and detail edges, edging and borders, and irrigation each carry their own rate per linear metre.

Variations

Extras as their own lines

Add extra items with their own description, price and note, so a plant substitution reads as a variation instead of a changed total.

Output

A professional PDF, sent from the app

GST handled correctly, formatted properly, and emailed to the client with an acceptance link.

Your rate fields

What the profile actually asks you for

Pick Landscaping in your profile and the pricing fields become Softscape install ($/m²), Hardscape install ($/m²), Feature zone ($/m²), Excavation / prep ($/m²), Retaining / detail edges ($/lm), Edging / borders ($/lm), Irrigation / sealing ($/lm), a site prep allowance, and a plant / materials allowance. Alongside them sit your hourly rate, minimum job price, margin, GST treatment, payment terms and quote validity.

The job type list changes with it: Garden refresh, Landscape package, Turf and planting install, Paving and edging works, Outdoor feature upgrade. Every field arrives with a starting number in it. They are a starting point to overwrite with your real rates, not a claim about what you should charge.

Add each zone as its own space. Softscape, hardscape and feature areas measured separately, retaining and edging metres alongside them, with excavation area and base depth recorded per zone.

Material list

A quantity schedule in your own terms

Every quote generates a schedule of what you measured, named the way landscapers name it. Each measured area with its waste percentage applied, your prep area, every linear run, and your estimated hours. It is grouped, copy-ready, and can be emailed to your supplier from inside the app. Save your own supplier prices under My Prices and they get matched against it, so the figures are yours rather than a guess at the market.

What it does not do yet, plainly: it will not convert your measurements into specific products and quantities. Tiling gets tile counts, adhesive and grout bags, membrane and levelling clips. Painting gets litres of paint at real coverage rates. Landscapers do not have that product-level takeoff yet, because doing it properly means real landscaper-specific rules rather than tiling's with the labels changed. It is the next thing we build for a trade once someone in it is actually using Scopeflow. Everything else on this page is live today.
